Focused Lectures 2013

The 10th "Focused Lecture" of the Integrated Graduate School of the TRR80 took place on Friday, 19th July 2013 at the TUM in Garching and at the Augsburg University. Its main topic was Thin-film fabrication and characterization, covered in two lectures by Prof. Dirk Grundler and Prof. German Hammerl.
It took place in Garching (seminar room of E21, room 2224) and in Augsburg (room 403/S). The two lectures were transmitted via Video-Conference between these two places.

It took place at the Glaspalast, FRM II Garching (the seminar room left of the main entrance of the FRM II) and was transmitted via Video-Conference to the Augsburg University (room 403/S).

The 6th "Focussed Lecture" of the Integrated Graduate School of the TRR80 took place on Friday, 24th June 2011. It gave an introduction to x-ray and neutron reflectometry (Wolfgang Kreuzpaintner) and a basic introduction to fundamental spintronic effects (Andreas Schmehl). It took place in Augsburg (room 403/South Physics Building) and in Munich (Glaspalast, FRM II Garching), and was transmitted via videoconferencing between both places.
