Short Summary

The collective excitations (magnons) of skyrmionic spin textures are investigated in bulk samples, thin films and tailored micro-structures of selected materials featuring strong electronic correlations, using a combination of transport properties, microwave spectroscopy, and Brillouin light scattering. Of particular interest are the specific field orientation and sample shape. The experimental studies focus on the nature of the fundamental excitations as well as damping effects in the context of possible applications in the field of magnonics.
